MFAAbbreviation for Ministry of Foreign Affairs or related department/ministry (e.g. Department of State in the United States) for a given country.
Passport terms
Biometric passport/ePassportA passport that contains biometric information about the passport holder. This information is stored on a chip embedded in the passport.
Non-passport-related specific technical terms
QRA QR (Quick Response) code is a type of matrix barcode that stores data in a two-dimensional grid of black and white squares. It can be scanned using a smartphone or QR reader, quickly linking to digital content such as websites, text, or multimedia, making it a popular tool for easy and efficient information access.
